Express, Standard or Scheduled: which to pick

What each speed promises, and what it does to the price.

1 min readUpdated 30 Aug 2026

Every booking asks for a delivery speed. It changes both how quickly a courier commits to you and what the job costs.

SpeedWindowPrice effect
Express30 to 45 minutesHalf again on top of the standard price
Standard1 to 2 hoursThe baseline price
ScheduledA time slot you pick10% below the standard price

When to use each

  • Express is for things with a deadline: a tender document before close of business, a part that is holding up a job.
  • Standard covers most of what people send. A courier picks up within the hour and you are done.
  • Scheduled is the cheapest because couriers can plan around it. Use it for anything that has to arrive tomorrow rather than now.

Windows are measured from the moment you accept a bid, not from when you opened the app. Traffic on Samora Machel at half past four is real, and the courier updates your ETA if it moves.
