How long does a delivery take?
Express is 30 to 45 minutes, Standard is 1 to 2 hours, and here is what moves those numbers.

Two things decide your delivery time: the speed you booked, and the distance between the two pins. Everything else is traffic.

What stretches the window
- Distance. A CBD to Avondale run is not a CBD to Borrowdale run.
- Time of day. Peak is roughly 7 to 9 in the morning and 4 to 6 in the evening.
- Waiting at pickup. If the courier arrives and the package is not ready, the clock keeps running.
- Rain. Bikes slow down and so does everyone else.
The window starts when you accept a bid, not when you open the app. Getting the package ready before you book is the single biggest thing you can do to speed it up.
