Nobody is there to receive the package

The courier calls, waits ten minutes, then you choose what happens next.

It happens. The recipient stepped out, the gate is locked, the phone is off. Fetchr has a fixed process so the courier is not left guessing and you are not left without a package.

  1. 1The courier phones the recipient on the number attached to the booking.
  2. 2If there is no answer, they wait ten minutes at the drop-off point.
  3. 3You get a notification that the delivery is blocked, with the courier still on site.
  4. 4You choose from the order screen: give a new drop-off point nearby, or have the package returned to you.

A return trip is a second trip and is charged as one. Redirecting to an address close by usually costs less than a full return.

The best prevention is a phone number that will actually be answered, and a drop-off note that says where the gate is.
