Cash on delivery
How cash works on both ends of the trip, and who pays when the recipient will not.
Cash on delivery means the courier collects payment at the drop-off rather than you paying upfront. It is available on every booking.
Who pays
By default you pay, and the courier collects from you at pickup. If you want the recipient to pay instead, say so when you book. The courier then collects at the drop-off and will not hand over until they have.
If the recipient refuses
- The courier reports it and the delivery pauses at the drop-off point.
- You get a notification and choose: pay it yourself from the order screen, or have the package returned.
- A return trip is charged as a second trip.
Couriers carry limited change. Rounding the amount, or telling the courier in the booking note what you will be paying with, saves everyone a phone call.
